Rainbow Connection Family Resource Center

The Rainbow Connection Family Resource Center is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting families of children with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities. It offers a variety of resources, support services, educational workshops, parent training, and social activities to empower families and promote the well-being of children with diverse needs. The center serves as a welcoming and inclusive space where families can connect, learn, and access the support they need to navigate the challenges of raising a child with diverse needs.

Tri-Counties Regional Center

The Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) is a nonprofit organization that coordinates and provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties. TCRC offers a wide range of services, including assessment and diagnosis, case management, service coordination, advocacy, and referrals to community resources and support programs. It serves as a central hub for accessing comprehensive and individualized services to enhance the lives of individuals and promote their inclusion in the community.

In-Home Supportive Services

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a statewide program that provides in-home care and support services to eligible individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities, and older adults. IHSS helps individuals remain safely in their own homes and communities by offering assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, household chores, and other supportive services. It enables individuals to maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the care they need in familiar surroundings.

Human Services Agency

The Human Services Agency (HSA) provides a variety of essential social services and support programs to individuals and families in Ventura County. These services may include assistance with food and nutrition, housing and shelter, healthcare access, childcare, employment support, and more. HSA serves as a lifeline for individuals and families in need, offering resources and support to help them overcome challenges and improve their quality of life.

Department of Developmental Services (DDS)

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is a state agency dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It offers a wide range of services and programs, including early intervention, residential support, vocational training, educational resources, and advocacy initiatives. DDS plays a crucial role in coordinating and funding services to help individuals with developmental disabilities live meaningful and fulfilling lives in their communities.

Brain Injury Support Center

The Brain Injury Support Center provides essential resources and support services for individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) or acquired brain injuries (ABIs), as well as their families and caregivers. It offers educational materials, counseling services, rehabilitation programs, peer support groups, and advocacy assistance to help individuals navigate the challenges associated with brain injuries and promote their recovery and well-being.

Autism Society

The Autism Society is a leading organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families, and caregivers. It offers a wide range of resources, support services, educational materials, advocacy initiatives, and community events aimed at promoting autism awareness, acceptance, and inclusion. Individuals and families affected by autism can find valuable information, support networks, and opportunities for empowerment through the Autism Society.

2-1-1 Resource Center

The 2-1-1 Resource Center offers a comprehensive directory of community resources and services available in Ventura County. It provides assistance in accessing various support services, including healthcare, housing, food assistance, mental health services, and more. Individuals can find valuable information and referrals to meet their specific needs through this centralized resource hub.
